Working in Classrooms
One of the questions teachers often ask me when they are thinking about booking a workshop is whether or not we need to use the school hall. If there will only be one class involved teachers often prefer to work in their own classroom.
A large classroom is fine for most of our workshops but space is always a consideration. The photo below shows our Punch and Judy Show set up for Seaside Day in a classroom.
Most of our workshops can easily be run in a classroom. The only exception is Circus Skills which would need to be in the hall unless the furniture is removed to give the required floor space. They did actually do this for me at one school I visited, however this was an exception.
