The Benefits of Circus Skills and Juggling

The continuous movement required by circus kills / juggling is good for the whole body and beneficial to general heath. Juggling is defined as an act of dexterity or manipulation involving tossing, holding, balancing and otherwise manipulating objects in a skilful manner. The whole activity requires a degree of concentration and this in itself can be beneficial. The act of concentrating on your props and in the patterns you are learning will improve your general level of concentration when applied to other activities.

Enhancing hand eye coordination is another obvious benefit from juggling and it also improves accuracy in throwing and catching, developing faster reflexes, improving rhythm, balance and dexterity. Juggling demands patience and perseverance. Circus skills can also help to build confidence, improve poise and stage presence. It can help an individual to become more positive and self assured in everyday life.
