Prescot School Circus Day

Circus Skills Day

We had a great day at Prescot School and a lovely comment from the teacher who booked us to go in.

“What a brilliant day, the kids have had a ball ( as have the staff! ) Thank you so much!”

Circus Skills Workshops are popular in both Primary and Secondary Schools and are used for:

  • Rewards days
  • End of term treats
  • PHSE
  • As part of a circus topic
  • For team building / confidence building
  • Experiential learning

The content and presentation has to be suitable for the age group and ability level of the children you are working with, as well as the time available and the numbers taking part.

At Prescot School we had to take four people. In some schools we have taken a team of ten instructors whilst often it is just one person.

At Prescot school as in most other schools Circus Skills is a  new experience although  generally there are some children who have had a go at home or have been somewhere with their family and joined in a workshop at an event or holiday destination. Most of the children will have little or no knowledge or skill.

To be exciting there needs to be plenty of variety, good organization, good instruction and lots of fun!
